Alexeia Gorecki
Staff Coach – Figure Skating Department

Alexeia Gorecki is a professional figure skating coach based in Arizona and the founder of a specialized edge and power development program for competitive skaters. Her primary coaching focus includes edge quality, skating skills, acceleration, and efficient movement patterns, with an emphasis on building strong technical foundations that translate directly to confident performance. In addition to on-ice instruction, Alexeia offers off-ice classes designed specifically for figure skaters to support jump mechanics, strength, coordination, and overall movement quality. She also provides individualized video feedback on skating skills and technical elements to reinforce learning and accelerate athlete development.
Alexeia designs complete competitive programs, including jump layouts, spins, step sequences, and music structure, while also managing scheduling, parent communication, and coordination with outside coaches. She places a strong priority on consistent, structured lessons and strives to be present and available for her skaters, believing that reliable coaching support is essential to developing confident, successful athletes. Known for her clear communication and high standards, Alexeia maintains a focused, athlete-centered approach to long-term technical development and competitive success.
In addition to her figure skating program, Alexeia is a Hockey Level 3–certified coach with three years of experience coaching hockey power skating. By integrating figure skating fundamentals with hockey-specific skating demands, she helps athletes improve stride efficiency, power generation, and edge control across disciplines. Alexeia has extensive experience working with 8U, 10U, and 12U hockey players through private lessons and full-team power skating sessions and has worked with teams across the Valley. She trains athletes of all ages and is SafeSport certified through the U.S. Center for SafeSport, CORE Coach certified, and a member of both USA Hockey and U.S. Figure Skating.

Alexeia’s primary focus in figure skating is developing both competitive and recreational skaters on and off the ice in a positive, structured environment designed for long-term success. She primarily works in freestyle skating, while also supporting skaters as they progress through all skating skills tests as their development advances.
Her coaching emphasizes edge quality, skating skills, power, and efficient movement, and is supported by consistent on-ice training, figure-skating-specific off-ice classes, and individualized video feedback to help athletes grow with confidence and clarity. She also applies these same skating foundations to her hockey power and skating programs, focusing on stride mechanics, acceleration, crossover power, and controllable speed. By blending high-level figure skating edge work with hockey-specific demands, Alexeia develops strong, efficient skaters of all ages using a clear, skill-based approach.
